JOB TITLE: Marketing Coordinator                           STATUS: Exempt

 

 

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

 

Responsible for the development, maintenance and support of various communication functions necessary to provide timely flow of information important to marketing efforts both internally and externally. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

Collaborate with Internal Managers to develop and execute marketing communication strategies across multiple channels, including but not limited to email, intranet, videos, office displays, and more. While identifying new channels and tactics to keep employees engaged and informed across all levels.

 

Ensure brand consistency through all marketing channels.

 

Coordinate project calendars and schedules from initiation through completion. Organizes and monitor projects from concept phase to implementation.

 

Ability to learn, use, and teach the use of MyFS to customers and FS Optics to employees. 

 

Creates, maintains, monitors, and provides recommendations to management regarding company’s digital marketing strategy in regards to social media outlets, company website, online advertising campaigns, web analytics, and internal SharePoint sites.

 

Evaluate and provide tracking for projects upon completion to ensure the expected benefits are met and key insights are analyzed and incorporated into future projects and processes.

 

Partner closely in the organization, preparation, and execution of our Customer Appreciation Supper, Employee Outings, Fair Displays, and Sales meetings. 

 

Acts as the internal communications point person for al major internal announcements.

 

Utilize current technology, gained through experience and training, to monitor and maintain the company’s interests and exposure.

 

Ensures positive product visibility, strong brand recognition, and uncompromised company exposure to all of its stakeholders.

 

Generate metrics and reports of marketing efforts.

 

Collaborate with GROWMARK Corporate Communications and design team to implement local marketing tactics.

 

Support development, design, production, and distribution of marketing materials (e.g., brochures, forms, newsletters, communications).

 

Responsible for regular publication of the organization newsletter. 

 

Research, write, and format communications and presentations.

 

Provide desktop publishing support and website maintenance support.

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

 

Assist with company marketing meetings, trade shows, and events.

 

Assist with certain Human Resource activities applicable to employee engagement.

 

Attend all meetings and personal development classes/seminars/training as assigned.

 

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

 

Performs all other duties as assigned. Including but not limited to, filling in at plant locations seasonally or when deemed necessary by management.

REQUIREMENTS

 

Normally requires a 4-year degree in Business, Agriculture or Marketing with an emphasis in Digital Media, or the equivalent thereof.

 

Strong agronomy background, preferred.

 

Requires attention to detail, a high level of organization, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.

 

Must be self-motivated and able to work independently, asking questions as needed.

 

Must be a team player with a good attitude who is willing to learn and support the team on a variety of projects and levels.

 

Must act with professionalism and demonstrate high personal standards of performance and integrity; complete and promote compliance training and policies; serve as a creditable resource to constituents.

Basic Adobe Suite, Canva, and photography experience preferred.

 

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential.

 

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Ability to travel independently and overnight.

Occasionally required to lift 21-50 lbs.

Demonstrates GROWMARK essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development.

Ability and willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
