Order Fulfillment Team Lead (Temporary Position) - Allied Seed - Nampa, ID

Allied Seed is headquartered in Nampa, Idaho and currently employs 50 employees (including seasonal workers) nationwide. Allied Seed is part of the GROWMARK system, an agricultural subsidiary serving more than 100,000 customers across North America, Canada, and Mexico. PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Serve as the central coordinator between Operations and Customer Service to ensure all sales orders are entered, processed, and communicated accurately and on time.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

Monitor and track order flow from entry through fulfillment, proactively identifying bottlenecks, discrepancies, or delays and driving resolution.

Ensure data accuracy and documentation integrity in order entry, pricing, freight terms, inventory allocation, and customer requirements

Monitors and maintain inventories in accordance with FIFO practices.

Facilitate daily communication and alignment by leading brief check-ins, clarifying priorities, and escalating urgent issues when necessary.

Document and improve processes by identifying inefficiencies, recommending workflow improvements, and creating simple SOPs to strengthen long-term order management.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS 

Ability to work well with other teams to include but not limited to Warehouse, Customer Care and Logistics.

Maintains working knowledge of company ERP system.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:  

Requires a college degree or the equivalent thereof, and 1+ year of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of supply chain and order fulfillment.
