SALARY RANGE: $18 - $21/hr
PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
- In conjunction with the Location Manager, assure the smooth and efficient operations of the facility.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Oversee daily operations.

Responsible for scheduling and directing workflow of employees.

Assist the location manager/region manager with all supervisor duties including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Provide exceptional customer service.

Assists with the weighing, probing and grading of grain both inbound and outbound.

When applicable develops a strong understanding of grain accounting software system.

When applicable, enters scale tickets, contracts and other documents into grain accounting software system.

Manage material handling, storage, transport and equipment for delivery of products.

Assist with the recording of daily safety checks for operations.

Loads and unloads containers, pallets, or materials and products, safely on/off trucks, trailers, and/or railcars.

Responsible for the oversite of maintenance of the location equipment, grounds and facility.

Schedules maintenance and repairs of vehicles and equipment as requested.

Maintains an appropriate inventory of parts necessary for repairs and maintenance.

Assure proper safety procedures are being followed in order to stay compliant.

Ability to work extended hours as business conditions warrant.

Attends all required meetings and training programs.

Coordinate with Location Manager, Safety Coordinator, and other management members to assure maximum profitability of company and maximum safety of all employees.

Successfully adhere to safety rules and company policies and procedures. EHS, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures must be adhered to at all times.

All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof, and 2 or more years of related work experience.
