PAY RANGE: $65,000-$80,000

 

 

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

 

Under the direction of General Manager, is responsible to provide leadership to the company’s marketing communications, marketing programs, sales administration, credit and agriculture finance programs, and safety and compliance issues.

 

 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

Responsible for marketing communications including advertising, public relations, newsletters, websites, and internal/external communications

 

Provides leadership to the Company marketing programs and reporting

 

Oversees the marketing and implementation of credit and agriculture finance programs to ensure company goals and policies are accomplished

Develops policies and procedures for account collections and extension of credit to customers

Oversees the company’s safety and compliance programs and ensures the safety of employees and customers and compliance with all federal, state and local statutes

 

Oversee and monitor compliance related to required business licenses, permits, and registrations, including but not limited to fuel, agronomy, grain, environmental, and other regulatory filings applicable to cooperative operations.

Maintain documentation, renewal schedules, and audit trails for all licenses, registrations, and certifications to ensure timely compliance with federal, state, and local requirements

Support effective use of GROWMARK-supported software systems (e.g., accounting, marketing, and management information systems) and company computer hardware

REQUIREMENTS

 

Normally requires a Bachelor’s Degree in business or marketing, or the equivalent thereof, and at least 2 years in a related business leadership role to demonstrate leadership in business and marketing including project management, problem solving, and planning skills

 

Demonstrated essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development

 

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record

 

Must be able to travel independently and overnight

 

Must be able to work extended hours beyond those considered “normal”

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
