PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

To assist in the coordination of receiving and delivering of products in a manner to satisfy our customers and Evergreen FS, Inc.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION

Receive and efficiently set-up timely shipments of products into and out of the warehouse accurately to both our locations and customers.  Utilize fork-lift to transport and stock warehouse products.

Maintain the warehouse in a clean and organized manner, as well as assisting in the overall facility maintenance, including but not limited to the trucks assigned to the warehouse and the fleet of spare trucks kept at the facility.

Maintain a working knowledge of product lines contained in the warehouse, along with the ability to communicate over the phone in an effective manner to receive orders for these warehouse products.

Utilize various computer programs including but not limited to Microsoft Office technology and AgVance accounting to help in the billing of items.

Assist the Distribution Center Manager in day-to-day operations as needed.

Receive orders for fuel, LP, or other items that may come in and distribute them appropriately to the applicable delivery person.

May be asked to deliver products to customers and other locations, including backing up, or filling in for drivers delivering DEF, bulk oil, heavy fuels, and LP.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

May be asked to assist in the setup of meters or meter testing on both heavy fuels, and Bulk LP delivery trucks.

Obtain readings and help with the daily readings, maintenance, and general upkeep of the bulk fuel facility.

Assists in all aspect of customer service.  Back-up other positions in the warehouse during vacations or other time off as needed.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires an associate’s degree in business, or related field, and 2 years or more of warehouse, or shipping related work experience.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a CDL license with a Hazmat endorsement.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Must be able to travel independently and overnight.

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Must be willing to work hours beyond those considered “normal.”

Frequently exposed to extreme weather conditions. Working conditions may occasionally include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures.

Frequently exposed to pushing or lifting requirements up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lifting up to 75 pounds.

Must be able to work at varying heights while utilizing equipment.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on company policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
