Customer Service Representative (Seasonal) - GROWMARK FS Mid-Atlantic - Bloomsbury, NJ

 

GROWMARK FS is headquartered in Milford, Delaware with branches in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. GROWMARK FS has about 450 employees (including seasonal workers) and approximately 13,000 customers. The cooperative does business in seed, agronomy, crop protection, precision agriculture, and custom application. GROWMARK FS is part of the GROWMARK System, an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada.

 

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

 

Under the supervision of the location manager, is responsible for providing the quality customer service and product deliveries to maintain customer satisfaction.

 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

Responds to customer inquiries.

 

Assists customers on billing and statement questions.

 

Contributes to maintaining the highest level of customer service.

 

Processes payables and receivables.

 

Assists in the periodic physical inventories of products.

 

Runs Truck Reports.

 

Communicates sales leads to supervisor.

 

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

 

May serve on location Safety Committee and is required to participate in GFS EHS policies and training.

 

Supports and contributes to total company goals and objectives through collaboration efforts.

 

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

 

Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Normally requires a high school diploma, or the equivalent thereof, and 1 year or more of related customer service work experience to demonstrate knowledge of computer and communication skills.

 

Ability to work hours beyond those considered normal.

           

Must have and maintain valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

 

Ability to travel independently and overnight.

 

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
