Prairie Central Cooperative is a highly successful grain business with unit train and country elevator locations in Central Illinois.  Located just a few miles from both Bloomington-Normal and Pontiac, we are headquartered in Chenoa and have facilities at Pontiac, Fairbury, Flanagan, Lexington and Dwight.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

● Supervision of Employees

   ◦ Communicate to others

   ◦ Complete work in timely fashion

   ◦ Delegate workload

● Safety & Maintenance

   ◦ Examine all areas for safety hazards

   ◦ Preserve and advise on equipment

   ◦ Maintain clean and neat facilities

 

 

 

● Grain Management

   ◦ Maintain grain quality standards

   ◦ Blend grain to contract specs

   ◦ Assure proper aeration of bins

● Reporting
   ◦ Weekly housekeeping
   ◦ Monthly grain inventory

   ◦ Yearly building and equipment

  


 

● Customer Service
   ◦ Greet customers
   ◦ Assist with unloading and loading
   ◦ Attend meetings and training
