SALARY RANGE: $18.00 - $21.00 / hour  

 

 

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

 

To be a part of the Crop Insurance/FS Agri-Finance Team and to promote and expand the Federal Crop Insurance and FS Agri-Finance programs to patrons and prospects.  This position will administer Federal Crop Insurance and FS Agri-Finance, as an Administrative Assistant, through Country Financial and South Central FS, Inc.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

  • Develop a knowledge base of all products & services we have to offer
  • Organize and maintain customer files
  • Provide reporting and explanation of customer monthly statements and year end reporting
  • Assist in developing  and implementing Marketing Programs
  • Professionally manage customers sensitive information 
  • Communicate changes in Federal Crop Insurance and FS Agri-Finance to customers 
  • Responsible for entering payments of FS Agri-Finance loans and Crop Insurance premiums
  • Enter Data to meet deadlines and goals
  • Participate in meetings and attend seminars as required
  • Assist Crop Insurance salesmen by preparing documents for sales calls and general daily scheduling.
  • Provide the best customer service to customers by providing accurate and timely information on their Ag-Finance and Crop Insurance questions.
  • Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must successfully complete and maintain State of Illinois Property and Causality Insurance License (P & C License)
  • Must successfully complete and maintain Federal Crop Insurance Certifications from Country Financial

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
