SALARY/COMMISSIONS RANGE: $45 - $55K
Education and Experience:
Minimum 2-year, degree in trades, construction, agriculture, marketing, or other business and/or at least 2 years’ sales experience is preferred.
Job Summary:
This individual represents and sells the product lines of overhead doors, decks, fencing and covered buildings. The South Central Structures and Doors salesperson is responsible for preparing quotes and maintaining all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations. This individual is responsible for generating profitable sales to targeted customers and prospects. Assists in day-to-day operations as needed including but not limited to; billing, receiving, mail, purchasing, scheduling jobs on a daily basis and dispatching work crews.

Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned):
- Prospecting
- With the assistance of the manager, develop target market prospect list.
- Make sales calls on any specific leads provided by others.
- Develop a target market list of customers.
- Along with the Manager, develop and implement marketing plans including marketing communications, strategic plans, and target budgets, etc.
- Conducting Sales Interviews
- Develop strategies and objectives on targeted accounts.
- Develop and implement a schedule to make sales calls on prospects and patrons on a regular basis.
- Make appointments with prospects and patrons so as to maximize efficiency and not inconvenience potential customers.
- Quoting
- Provide accurate, detailed customer quotes that align with customer needs.
- Provide realistic timelines and ensure continued customer communication until the job is installed and complete.
- Provides value-added products, services, and recommendations to patrons and prospects.
- Handling Complaints
- Call on customers immediately when a complaint on either product or services occurs. (within 48 hours)
- Administering Credit
- Make certain that each customer and prospective customer understands the South Central FS Credit Policy.
- Work with the Credit Administrator, other salespeople, and with financial institution personnel to help the customer to keep his/her account current.
- Ensures the credit worthiness of customers, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained. Works closely with the credit department in collection of accounts receivable.
- Other Duties
- Cooperate with other FS salespeople in the area so as to portray a professional image to the public.
- Maintain up-to-date awareness of vendor’s activities and changes.
- Successfully adhere to safety rules and company policies and procedures. EHS, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures must be adhered to at all times.
- Attends all required meetings and training programs.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
