Precision Technology Specialist - Wabash Valley Service Company - Southern Territory

Promote and Develop Technology & Information Management Services (Agronomy Services) Retail Marketing Opportunities for Technology & Information Management Services (Agronomy Services) within Wabash Valley’s Trade Territory. Sell, Install, and Support Precision Equipment and Information Management Services (Agronomy Services).





All Precision Equipment products and services described on Agronomy Services price pages.





• Works with Crops Specialists & their supervisors to provide Product training on Assigned Products.

• Works with Crops Specialists and their supervisors on Sales Training specific to Assigned Products

• Works independently and with Crops Specialist and their supervisors to assist in conducting Grower Meetings for the purpose of Promoting Assigned Products

• Works independently and with Crops Specialists to make grower sales calls for the purpose of selling of assigned products.

• Works with the Supervisor assisting in the development of new products to add to the Agronomy Services product offering

• Works with the Supervisor assisting in the pricing of assigned products with a focus on maintaining and improving profit opportunities on Assigned Products.

• Understands competitive products and maintains records on all Precision Equipment & Information Management systems competition in sales territory, using this competitive knowledge to develop training and sales aids for the Crops Specialists.

• Maintains a CRM for documenting Sales Calls and Prospecting.

• Attends all required meetings and training programs.

• Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience:


    Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university in agriculture or business; or 5 to 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Language Skills:


    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.

    Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

    Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.

    Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.


Mathematical Skills:


    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

    Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

    Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
