Area Petroleum Operations Manager
REPORTS TO: Energy Sales & Marketing Manager STATUS: Exempt
SALARY RANGE: $80,000 - $90,000
PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Plans, organizes, and directs the energy service and project functions of the within assigned territory. Leads all aspects relating to external and internal energy projects. Provides customer service in a timely and accurate manner to increase customer satisfaction and maintain the reputation and profitability of the organization. Reports to the Energy Sales & Marketing Manager with any suggestions needed to increase sales in the assigned territory.
SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP( may or may not need this)
Supervises, leads, and develops the assigned employees required to operate the company’s Petroleum business unit within the assigned territory by providing leadership, support, setting performance expectations, providing feedback, on the job training, coaching, and actively maintaining performance management standards.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Assists the Energy Department Manager upon request; Serves as the back-up for the energy sales & delivery personnel as needed. Able to operate the trucks and deliver refined fuels, lubes, and DEF as needed.
Assists with the development of the company budget by forecasting capital project and/or expense items.
Supports and contributes to total company goals and objectives through collaboration efforts.
Responsible for maintaining the assigned vehicle according to company standards, adheres to the uniform policy, and maintains the appropriate professional image.
Follows Conserv FS’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof, and 3-5 years or more of service related work experience to demonstrate knowledge to effectively manage the service, projects, and personnel.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Must obtain and maintain all applicable licenses, certifications, and/or permits as required in order to perform the required duties.
Must have and maintain a valid CDL with HazMat, tanker, Class A preferred, a satisfactory driving record, and have the ability to travel independently and overnight.
Ability to work extended hours or on call as business conditions warrant.
Frequently exposed to or required to perform work tasks that may include:
- Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, mud, snow, ice, wind, etc.)
- Noisy conditions
- Conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, electrical, and mechanical hazards with appropriate safety measures
- Lifting 51 - 70 lbs.
- Pulling /dragging up to 70 lbs for a distance of up to 100 ft
- Climbing ladders, stairs, and scaffolding
- May be required to work at varying heights and on platforms
- Maneuvering barrels or drums of product with a minimum weight
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on Conserv FS’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
