GROWMARK Fleet Management Analyst Intern, Summer 2025 - Central Ontario FS - Guelph, ON

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Serves as the Fleet Management Analyst intern under the direction of the Fleet Operations Manager, trains and assists with general Logistics functions.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Hands on experience in supply chain and logistics field.

 

  • Work with FS employees and customers, building professional relationships.

 

  • Optimize asset utilization and efficiencies through the use of technology.

 

  • Assist with analysis of supply points and improving efficiencies of department.

 

  • Gain understanding and experience with functions of transportation and logistics area.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

 

  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be pursuing a business or related degree (Supply Chain, Agribusiness) at a 4-year university with the status of at least a second semester junior or first semester senior in good academic standing at time the internship begins.

 

  • Demonstrates ability to work independently.

 

  • Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

 

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel independently and overnight as needed.

 

  • Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • You are pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in business or related degree (Supply Chain, Agribusiness) at a 4-year university

 

  • You are currently in your junior year

 

  • You are in good academic status
