REPORTS TO: HRIS, Technology, and Development Manager                                                    STATUS: Non-Exempt

 

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Through digital strategy and technology enablement this individual will lead, assess, develop, and provide software system knowledge, training and support to all company locations, personnel, and customers.  Act as company liaison and customer service advocate to all company locations, personnel, and customers.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Key trainer and developer of company workflows, including supporting software to enable seamless creation and flow of data.
  • Create, maintain, and publish technical support documentation.
  • Act as a liaison for locations to meet the development needs of the employees to ensure they are properly equipped with hardware, software, and training to perform daily job functions in the most efficient and effective manner possible.
  • Trains staff on POS systems, banking, cash handling, petty cash, expense reports, daily reporting, inventory, Customer 360, etc.
  • Provide one-on-one, classroom style, and remote training for all aspects of FS business from MS Office, Agvance, Sky, MyFS, wEBS, etc.… including basic computer skills.
  • Create, maintain, and conduct New Employee Systems Training, including manuals and agendas.
  • Work with location administrators, business departments, and other user specialists to create and maintain software system user manuals and best business practices.
  • Provide insight into different training needs and execution styles to enhance employee engagement and customer experience.
  • Publish timely tips and helpful hints on current software system technology applications.
  • Vital member of all system software implementations, upgrades, and maintenance project teams.
  • Vast knowledge of each system and process to provide location assistance and admin support functions. Systems included (but were not limited to) Agvance, Sky, MyFS, MyGrowmark, wEBS, KwikTag, Ops Center, and other business applications, including future systems yet to be determined, etc.
  • Provides one-on-one training and assistance to customers.

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Provide and implement a strategic plan for IT-based marketing for employees.
  • Help evaluate the use of future business systems to improve functionality and ease of use.
  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and/or necessary meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Educations and Experience

Normally requires a high school degree, or equivalent, and two (2) years or more of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of information technology skills.

 

Functional Competencies

  • Proven professional communication and customer service skills and the ability to comprehend simple instructions and communicate one-on-one and in small groups with customers and other employees.
  • Demonstrated time management and basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing into all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; computed rate, ratio, and percent; and drawn and interpreted bar graphs. 
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. 
  • Understanding of basic computer skills as they relate to business.

Other Requirements

  • Must have or have the ability to obtain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability and willingness to participate in required training, including education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training related to the position's requirements.
  • Ability to work hours other than those considered normal to meet seasonal demands.
