Are you organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service? We’re looking for a Location Operational Assistant / Administrative to support our day-to-day operations and ensure smooth customer interactions at our Marion, IL location.
Job Summary
The Location Operational Assistant / Administrative will play a key role in assisting the Location Manager with billing, inventory, customer service, and general administrative support. This position requires strong communication skills, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in-person and over the phone with professionalism and warmth.
- Support billing operations for all products, including fertilizers, chemicals, fuels, and store items.
- Maintain accurate inventory records on a daily and monthly basis.
- Organize and manage store displays, promotions, and seasonal merchandising.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the store; delegate and assist with daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
- Enter data into billing systems and prepare invoices, bills of lading, credit memos, and shipping documentation.
- Assist in credit administration, including processing new applications and promoting Agri-finance services.
- Collaborate with sales staff to promote company products and services.
- Ensure excellent customer experience by prioritizing customer satisfaction and building long-term relationships.

- Education and/or Experience:
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school;
OR six months to one year of related experience and/or training;
OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and proficiency in data entry.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Knowledge of agricultural products is a plus but not required.
- Comfortable using computers and basic accounting or inventory software.
- Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to assist where needed.
