PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

This position will be responsible for the scheduling, and completion of propane installations and services to customers in a designated territory.  Additionally, this position will serve as a backup to the delivery drivers in the assigned area.

Key Responsibilities

Gain troubleshooting experience and technical problem solving by performing the installation, and servicing of propane tanks and associated equipment.

Develop time management and customer service skills while scheduling service appointments with customers to ensure service work is being performed on time, and to their satisfaction.

Achieve company goals by regularly performing necessary safety checks, and regulator updates as required by insurance.

Continuing education by completing technical and product training in order to stay up-to-date and knowledgeable of product changes.

Experience the day-to-day procedures needed in order to keep up and maintain the equipment and bulk locations where you will be assigned.

Follow up on all customer inquiries and seeks solutions in a timely manner.

Adheres to company policy in respect to completing and submitting inventory reports making sure it is done correctly, on time, and sent to the main office.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Normally requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat, tanker and air- brakes endorsements.

Ability to operate company software.

Demonstrated core competencies including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making and skill development.

Must be willing to work hours beyond those considered “normal.”

Frequently exposed to extreme weather conditions. Working conditions may occasionally include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures.
