Assistant, HR - GROWMARK FS, LLC - Milford, DE

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

 

Assists with the administration of Human Resources related tasks including payroll, employment and benefits.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

Provides administrative support to Human Resources Manager. 

 

Assists with payroll and benefits processing.

 

Maintains Department of Transportation driver files, including physicals, Motor Vehicle Records and drug testing, and enters driver information.

 

Processes weekly garnishment payments

 

Updates and maintains Paid Time Off (PTO) spreadsheet for employees.

 

Reconciles monthly vendor payments with employee benefit premium deductions.

 

Assists in the annual Open Enrollment process.

 

Scans, uploads and links employee documents.

 

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

 

May be required to attend and participate in Career Fairs.

 

Practices strict confidentiality to sensitive employee data.

 

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

 

Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Normally requires an Associate’s Degree, or the equivalent thereof, and a minimum of 3 years experience in the human resources field, or an equivalent combination of education and  experience to demonstrate evaluation, decision-making skills, technical proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office products and other proprietary software.

 

Demonstrated essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

 

 

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Ability to travel independently and overnight as needed. 

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
