In-Branch Grain Originator - Central Ontario FS - Mitchell, ON

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING 

If you are passionate about grain marketing, building customer relationships, and understanding market trends, and interested in originating grain and delivering valueadded marketing solutions, then we can’t wait to talk to you! 

We are looking for an InBranch Grain Originator who is eager to proactively work with producers, develop longterm relationships, and provide profitable grainmarketing strategies. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Originating grain from existing and prospective customers through strong relationship management 

• Providing timely market information, cash grain bids, and marketing plans to branch customers 

• Purchasing grain deliveries and completing contracts, settlements, and related documentation 

• Working closely with the branch team, carriers, and facility personnel to coordinate deliveries 

• Supporting branch marketing, customer experience, and advisory sales efforts 

• Supporting the Agronomy Sales Team with counter and phone sales, order entry, field plans, delivery/blend tickets, soil sampling coordination, and grower support within Agvance. 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE 

• College diploma or university degree in agriculture, business, or a related field—or equivalent experience 

• Knowledge of grain markets (corn, soybeans, wheat) and grainmarketing strategies 

• Strong customer focus with proven ability to build trust and longterm relationships 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Ability to work independently while being a strong team player 

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) 

• Valid G driver’s license
