PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Under the direction of the Director of Finance and Business Operations, demonstrates strong interpersonal and business skills and will be responsible for a variety of tasks; including but not limited to being the primary point of contact and expert user for analytical tools, assistant to our Agri-Finance Program and other business operational duties. Performs all job functions in a timely and accurate manner to increase customer satisfaction and maintain the reputation and profitability of the organization.

 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Communicate effectively with customers over the telephone and in person to answer questions, resolve concerns, and direct requests appropriately.

 

Super User of Analytical Tools

    • Super user of Agvance Analytics, FS Optics, SAP Analytics
    • Set up, customize, and maintain reports in these tools to provide valuable insights to various departments
    • Test the validity of data and reports generated by these tools to ensure accuracy and reliability
    • Stay updated on new enhancements and features of the analytical tools and implement them as appropriate to improve efficiency and effectiveness

 

Assistant to our Agri-Finance Program:

  • Assist in communication and marketing with customers regarding the programs, addressing inquiries and providing support as needed
  • Aid in the enrollment process for customers interested in the financing program, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and timely
  • Assist in managing monthly draws and reconciliations for the Agri-Finance program

 

Accounting Duties:

  • Account reconciliations; investigating discrepancies and resolving issues promptly to ensure accuracy in financial records
  • Assist in managing leases, including tracking lease agreements and maintaining lease records accurately
  • Assist in accounts payable processing, verifying invoices
  • Provide backup support to agronomy locations during busy times, assisting with various operational tasks as needed to ensure smooth functioning of the business
  • Assists in monthly close process

 

Establish and maintain the professional image of the office

 

Pays close attention to detail, prioritizes work daily and displays organizational skills to keep up with the continuously changing demands and development of this role.

 

Performs all other duties as assigned

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Agri Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.

 

Demonstrates ability to problem-solve and multi-task in an intense, fast-paced environment

 

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.

 

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external customers

 

Knowledge of accounting principles and experience with account reconciliations and accounts payable processing

 

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

 

Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively

 

Ability to work seasonal hours over 55 hours/week, ability to work Saturdays on a flexible schedule

 

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
