Qualification Requirements:

Normally requires a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in agriculture, marketing, or business, or the equivalent thereof, and 2 years or more of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of production agriculture.

 

Essential Job Functions: 

Responsible for assisting all crops department-marketing activities in the designated Olney trade area.

 

Must hold or be willing to work toward the attainment of CCA accreditation, Commercial Applicator w/applicable categories.

 

Ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate driver’s license and satisfactory driving record for the type of vehicle that will be required to operate in order to perform all the duties assigned prior to employment.

 

Assisting the crops specialist with sales calls.

 

Must be familiar with billing and administrative procedures including effective utilization of computer marketing information systems, FieldAlytics and AgVance accounting software.

 

Responsible for maintaining a working knowledge base of all products marketed through the facilities necessary to helping patrons achieve the goal of improving their profitability.

 

Must be familiar with technological advances in the crops area and successfully market the service component of the Company’s product offering to patrons.

 

Provides highest level of customer service to all customers.

 

Responsible for adherence to all company and government safety and regulatory policies.

 

Responsible for assisting in operations day to day activities including but not limited to spraying, spreading and tendering when needed.

 

Perform other duties as assigned.
