Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Grain Systems Salesman to join our team in Princeton, IL. This role involves a combination of inbound and outbound sales, project planning, customer service, and coordination with service teams. The ideal candidate will have strong agricultural, construction, or business knowledge and the drive to provide exceptional service and sales support in the grain systems industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with prospective and current customers to plan, price, and manage grain system projects.
- Provide over-the-counter sales support for grain bin parts and related equipment.
- Collaborate with service technicians to schedule grain system repair jobs and ensure timely completion.
- Complete and process work orders for all service jobs.
- Maintain a sellable inventory of grain bin parts and ensure parts availability to meet customer and project needs.
- Develop long-term customer relationships and seek new business opportunities in the surrounding area.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Construction, or Marketing preferred. Equivalent combinations of experience and education will be considered.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Email.
- Willingness to learn industry-specific software and internal tools.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as required by business needs.
- Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions and at varying heights.
