Structure Laborer

Salary Range: $18-$22/hour

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.

 

Purpose and Summary Statement

Under the direction of the Department Manager/Structure Salesman/Structure Foreman, assist in the construction and maintenance of Grain Bins and Buildings.

Essential Job Functions

Follow the directions of the Structure Foreman in the day to day operations of constructing Grain Bins and Buildings. 

Responsible for maintaining Structures equipment and keeping Structure Foreman
informed on unsafe equipment and practices.

Other Job Functions

Responsible for maintaining company equipment according to company standards, adheres to the Ag View FS Uniform Policy, and maintains the appropriate professional image.

May serve on the location Safety Committee and adheres to member cooperative
environmental health and safety policies and training.

Attends all required meetings and training programs.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Functional Competencies

Proven professional communication and customer service skills and the ability to comprehend simple instructions and communicate one-on-one in small groups with customers and employees.

Demonstrated time management and basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Proven ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Perform minor equipment maintenance and repair, and lift 50 lbs.
