Warehouse Tech - Bulk Packaged/Oil - Illini FS - Urbana, IL


Illini FS is headquartered in Urbana, Illinois with branches in five eastern Illinois counties. Illini FS has about 200 employees and approximately 6,000 customers. The cooperative does business in agronomy, energy, tires, and retail. Illini FS is part of the GROWMARK System, an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada.





Responsible for the delivery, inventory and stock of bulk and packaged oil and bulk fuel tanks.





Orders and delivers bulk and packaged oil products


Assembles  and delivers bulk fuel tanks to customers or designated locations


Reads, comprehends, and generates customer orders and work orders


Coordinates with GROWMARK affiliates for scheduled delivery optimization


Directs and is actively involved in customer conversion to GROWMARK brand lubricants


Orders and maintains warehouse inventory items


Receives and verifies UPS/Fed Ex packages (when available)


Provides customer service in a timely and accurate manner to increase customer satisfaction, maintain the reputation and profitability of the organization

Maintains the warehouse and delivery vehicles to ensure they are clean and operable





Conducts and completes monthly and annual inventories of oil and warehouse stock items


Organizes and maintains company warehouse and delivery vehicles


Supports and contributes to total company goals and objectives through collaboration efforts


Responsible for maintaining the delivery vehicles according to company standards, adheres to the uniform policy, and maintains the appropriate professional image


Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply


Performs all other duties as assigned






Normally requires high school diploma or the equivalent thereof, and 1-2 years or more of agriculture or warehouse related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of inventory control and organization skills.


Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.


Prefer an understanding of GROWMARK energy products, operations and service functions.


Must have and maintain a valid commercial driver’s license with required endorsements,forklift certification, a satisfactory driving record, and the ability to travel independently as needed.

  • Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, snow, ice, etc.)
  • Noisy conditions
  • Working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures
  • May be required to work at varying heights
  • Confined spaces
  • Lift up to 51-70 lbs.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
