JOB TITLE: Grain/Crops Department-Class A CDL Driver

PAY RANGE: $20-24 / hour

LOCATION: Venedy Fertilizer Facility/ Elevator

SUMMARY:
This person must be able to operate a tandem axle truck or tractor trailer regularly. Must already have or be willing to obtain a Class A CDL. Will be in charge of daily care, scheduled maintenance, and operations of their assigned Class A vehicle. Driving will be a day shift with no overnights.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Obtain/Maintain a valid Class A CDL with tank, air brakes and Hazmat.

Load/unload fertilizer, grain, rock, etc.

Keep all equipment and facility properly taken care of and maintained throughout the season.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma/GED or a one year minimum of related work experience.

Must be willing to work seasonally long hours and overtime when needed.

Must have basic computer skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to work in all weather conditions.

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl for various lengths of time.

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
