PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

 

Research softward for on-line products catalog and turf website options

 

Develop a plan, schedule, and collateral elements for supporting Conserv FS social media - Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram

 

Work with Marketing Specialist and Human Resources Manager to establish company LinkedIn presence

 

Assist Marketing Specialist in development of other collaterals and product guides

 

Research to provide analysis of competitor's use of social media

 

Perform data entry, scrub and assist Marketing Specialist in implementing new contact management software and related practices

 

Provide support for Turf Department events and summer projects

 

Provide support for other departments as requested

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

 

May be required to maintain customer information.

 

Occasionally may be asked to drive and run local errands as requested.

 

May be required to cross-train and substitute for other administrative positions.

 

May be required to pick up/drop off local products or materials by request.

 

Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Intern must be in active process of pursuing bachelor degree in marketing or related field.

 

Demonstrates advanced knowledge of professional communication skills, typing proficiency and Microsoft Office programs as well as Adobe suite of publication software including InDesign

 

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. 

 

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
