Credit Associate
REPORTS TO: Business Services Manager STATUS: Non-Exempt
SALARY RANGE: $18 - $20 / hour
PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Proactively communicates with customers and employees to resolve informational needs relating to the payment of invoices and administers digitization of customer credit files.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Regularly reviews open invoice reports and reaches out to customers to ensure information is available for them to make payments and follows up on conversations to ensure payment is received.
Administers and maintains customer files including digitization efforts, updating of forms and contact information.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Assists in management of incoming customer calls, owning the calls and ensuring completion of issue for the customer.
Produces periodic sales reports, assists in account reconciliations.
Assists in administration of various projects such as patronage processing, LP contracting and the annual meeting.
Follows Conserv FS’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and the ability to discuss financial matters without offending or being offended.
Experience in commercial credit and/or bookkeeping is preferred.
High school diploma required.
Must be able to use accounting business systems, Microsoft 365 tools.
Good critical thinking skills are helpful.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Ability to work extended hours as business conditions warrant.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on Conserv FS’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
