This position provides primary technical support for Enterprise Systems hardware, software, and cloud infrastructure, including automation and systems security support.  




Provides lead technical and implementation support for environment configuration and deployment automation for cloud and VMware.


Implements and provides lead technical support for GROWMARK’s SAN and virtual server infrastructure.


Provides technical, problem resolution, and deployment support for Linux (RedHat/SUSE/Ubuntu) and Windows.


Implements methods and procedures to ensure operating system and data security.


Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large-scale projects.


Implements procedures to ensure data integrity, recoverability and consistency on the system.


Supports ESS systems including: day-to-day operations, monitoring, performance tuning, and problem resolution.


Provides technical recommendations regarding major hardware/software/cloud acquisitions and enhancements to meet business requirements.


Consults with clients within the company on the effective use of ESS systems, and supported applications.


Implement, recommend, and adhere to GROWMARK IT procedures.


Provides assistance to Systems & Programming with scripting, programming techniques and special projects.


Provides support for SAP Basis and SAP NetWeaver.

Supports such applications as required by department need, including implementation, patching, and integration.


Involved in planning and coordinating configuration and change management procedures and schedules.


Maintains, refreshes, and enhances knowledge articles and job aids.




Prepares monthly status reports, weekly time reporting, and technical recommendations.


Assists with preparation of annual overhead and capital budgets.


Attends training classes, seminars and conferences as required.


Stays informed of changing technologies and trends related to information technology.


Visits vendors to learn about available products and services.


Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.


Performs all other duties as assigned.




Normally requires a college degree in information systems, electrical engineering, or the equivalent thereof, and 5 years or more of related work experience with UNIX/Linux software, automation, and virtual computing leadership to the GROWMARK System.


Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.


Must have a valid driver’s license and passport with the ability to work extended hours and travel independently overnight.


Ability to carry a mobile communication device and be available to receive after hours support calls.


Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
