Sales Associate Temp (Full-time, Temporary) - GROWMARK, Inc. - Bloomington, IL

Serves as back-up for a full range of customer services to support Seed Division's effort in sales, distribution and vendor reporting of all seed products to ultimately lead to increased profitability for our customers and member cooperatives. 




Responsible for monitoring and maintaining seed inventories in SAP in a manner that facilitates shipping and end of year reporting.


Responsible for reporting and reconciling information with seed vendors in a timely and efficient manner.


Cross trains with other Seed Operations staff in order to provide uninterrupted support for customers as needed.


Works with Field Sales Agronomists to administer programs offered by GROWMARK and our seed partners.


Collaborates with Logistics in administering and maintaining delivery and order service programs that are efficient and economical for GROWMARK as well as member cooperatives.



Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.


Performs all other duties as assigned.




Normally requires an associate’s degree in business-related field and related experience or the equivalent thereof.


Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.


Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.


Proven professional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills and the ability to establish and maintain working relationships with employees, customers, and vendors.


Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.


Ability to work hours other than those considered “normal”.


Proven computer skills and the ability to use the computer to enhance business processes.


Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
