SALARY RANGE: $52,250.00 - $71,887.50
Manito Transit LLC is a full-service petroleum, propane, ammonia, and chemical trucking company dedicated to providing high-quality products and services for the purpose of improving customer profitability.
PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Maintains information on customer orders or schedules deliveries in a manner that meets customer requirements while minimizing overall Manito Transit costs. Provides service solutions to all customers both internal and external.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Serves as Manito Transit’s primary dispatch customer service representative.
Tenders orders to drivers in accordance to procedures in an effort to maximize efficiency. Responsible for communicating to our customers when a specific “Time or Terminal” option is the only option available to meet our customers’ needs.
Responsible for order entry and communication to customers when delivery requests can not be met and provides them with all possible delivery options.
Responsible forcontacting loading terminals, working with the terminal operators regarding hours of operation, and communicating loading hours to customers and drivers in an effort to maintain customer service levels.
Ability to use TMW and People Net Software to maximize driver efficiency and customer service.
Receives and maintains data for member cooperatives and non-member brokerage customer orders.
Ensures that a signed customer contract and customer loads are delivered.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a college degree in transportation or equivalent thereof and at least 2 years related experience to demonstrate transportation and dispatching knowledge.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Proven professional communication, persuasion, and customer service skills.
Demonstrated planning, organization, problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate extreme peak demands and time pressures.
Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to work extended hours and weekends, as demand requires.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
