Administrative & Purchasing Assistant - Seedway LLC - Elizabethtown, PA


SEEDWAY, LLC is headquartered in Hall, New York and currently employs 280 employees (including seasonal workers) nationwide. We offer a leading line of vegetable seed for growers in the United States and Eastern Canada.


Provides executive support to the vegetable seed product managers, as well as customer service for industry customers.




Loads codes, descriptions and prices for new products into JD Edwards system.


Constructs and maintains all price lists and coordinates price updates with office staff.


Executes orders, and provides customer service for industry and international customers.


Provides executive support for the product managers.


Collects and distributes sales reports.


Maintains various schedules including advertisement schedule.


Reviews incoming correspondence as required and respond as appropriate.


Administers and executes reports and distributes as required.




May be required to maintain customer information.


Occasionally may be asked to drive and run local errands as requested.


May be required to cross-train and substitute for other administrative positions.


Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.


Performs all other duties as assigned. 




Normally requires a high school diploma, or the equivalent thereof, and 1 – 3 years or more of clerical related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of professional communication skills, typing proficiency and Microsoft Office programs.


Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.


Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.


Ability to learn JDE Inventory System.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
