Customer Support Associate - Seedway LLC - Hall, NY

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Provides assistance to the Credit team by supporting day to day operations of the department. This includes providing customer service, assisting with credit applications, processing third party financing transactions, and clerical duties.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Process third party financing transactions.
Responsible for conducting customer credit investigations, granting new credit and adjusting existing credit limits when necessary.
Maintains customer credit files.
Maintains customer accounts including Sales Tax Exemption updates, high proficiency in data entry required.
Release orders in system as needed.
Prepares acknowledgement of credit review letters and credit granted to Sales Manager, District Sales Manager and Customer.
Assist with incoming phone calls.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
May be required to run local errands as requested.
Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
REQUIREMENTS
Requires a high school diploma, or equivalent, and a minimum of one year of related work experience.
Credit experience not required, but helpful.
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional company image.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Attention to detail is very important
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
