Seed Trucking Coordinator - Seedway LLC - Mifflinburg, PA

Provide customer service, working with Territory Field Managers, Dealers and customers. Ensure product is shipped in the most timely and efficient manner, planning the transportation route, selecting the mode of transportation and tracking the shipment from pick up through delivery, while targeting cost reduction, freight savings and service. 



Learn all functions of the Farm Seed  and Turf customer service group, become familiar with the dealers and products to be able to work in conjunction with sales reps and CSRs to meet special customer requests. 


Oversee accurate and timely scheduling and dispatching of trucks to ensure that the flow of product in and out meets or exceeds customer demands as well as inter-company transfers. 


Coordinate and manage the most efficient loads to remain cost-effective as a division, combining orders based on routes and product availability to minimize how many trucks and drivers are on the road. 


Cultivate strong relationships with office and warehouse personnel, drivers and customers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute order changes


Work with warehouse personnel to verify inventory location and availability for shipment. 


Work in conjunction with shipping coordinators at each location and back up Supply Chain Manager.





Work closely with operations, warehousing and delivery teams to achieve performance objectives.


Attend and assist with trainings and meetings throughout the year as needed. 


Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.


Performs all other duties as assigned.





High School Diploma and proven experience coordinating truck deliveries or relevant position or an Associates degree in transportation and logistics.


Must have a strong knowledge of and willingness to learn transportation routes along the East Coast.


Active listener with excellent communication skills and outstanding organizational and mult-tasking abilities. 


Be willing and able to work extended hours if needed. 


Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn company’s operating system.


Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. 


Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
