PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

This role leads Tableau reporting and financial analysis for GROWMARK's Member Business, while managing executive communications, board materials, and strategic documentation for leadership and member stakeholders. Key responsibilities include overseeing audit processes, comparative analysis, business calculations, the AFE process, and coordination with treasury, IT, and internal operations teams.


SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP

Supervises, leads and develops the Member Finance and Data Analyst.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Leads the creation, implementation, maintenance, and analysis of Tableau reporting for members and Member Business.

Responsible for the creation of CEO Staff and GROWMARK Board of Director presentations, memorandums and supporting documents related to Member Business projects, addendums to membership agreements and requests for new members, merged members or dissolved members.

Assists with review of the Uniform Management Agreement audit calculation and annual contract adjustments, preparation of GROWMARK and member board materials, and presentations for Member Business. Also assists with member salary surveys and director per diem surveys.

Leads the preparation of annual comparative analysis for GROWMARK and GROWMARK members to utilize with the board of directors and management.

Manages the Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) process for Member Business.

Serves as liaison to Treasury Research and Analysis (TRA).

Creates and administers processes and procedures for corporate programs.

Serves as liaison to IT and IMS.

Provides oversight for ASP and AIM calculations, reporting, and retention of supporting documentation on a monthly basis. Also provides periodic analysis of ASP point factors and product groupings.

Creates, updates, and maintains monthly business reports, maintains audit database, and completes necessary data analysis.

Assists with the GROWMARK Annual Meeting through participation in the general planning committee and chairing the caucus and shareholder information committees. Reconciles the member stock records and creates the zone caucus book.

Prepares Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) analysis, and the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) calculation on projects related to Member Business, including Member Cooperative projects such as transportation studies, margin analysis and business unit profitability studies.

Leads the application process for new members and member changes.


OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Develop presentations for Member Business as needed.

Coordinates market development requests with FS Members.

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting, and 6 years or more of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of business and financial leadership.

Prefer GROWMARK System financial experience.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Must have the ability to travel independently and overnight as needed.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
