PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Provides a positive customer experience and fosters relationships that support brand loyalty. Responsible for answering product questions and providing technical guidance in the areas of Grain Systems, Energy Equipment, Agronomy Application Equipment, and Truck Parts. Works closely with other departments to increase customer service quality from order to invoice.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Serves as the primary customer service contact for customers and member cooperatives to increase customer service quality from contracting to order to invoice.
Responsible for the analysis of of cost changes and subsequent pricing of equipment, communicates current programs to member cooperatives.
Receives and places orders, follows up on order status, and solicits orders during special promotions.
Supports member companies with service bulletins and assists in troubleshooting problems and making recommendations, identifies and expedites needed parts.
Responsible for monitoring and communicating all vendor availabilities, back orders, and lead times to customers and other applicable departments.
Serves as lead in developing and communicating resolutions and service strategies to issues that arise with members / customers including but not limited to approving warranty claims, shortages, product recalls, etc.
Ensures that customer requests are completed in a timely, professional, accurate, and responsive manner, and prioritizes workflows to maximize customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Coordinates and maintains customer accounts, contacts, and location information data within the company's operating systems.
Responsible for identifying and leading change projects regarding operating efficiency and customer service.
Achieves individual, team and department goals.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintains product knowledge and association presence through supplier communications and meetings.
Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Prepares sales, purchases, inventory, and other reports as requested.
Responsible for encouraging, supporting, and promoting innovative practices, ideas, and technologies within the team.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, or equivalent thereof plus at least 2 years of related sales/technical support experience to demonstrate the ability to provide assigned equipment customer service leadership to the GROWMARK System.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Accountability and personal organization are essential.
Preferred understanding of SAP and ServiceNow software functionality and its use to drive improved business results.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Ability to work hours considered outside a normal workday during busy and peak seasons.
Prefer an understanding of GROWMARK member plant operations.
Ability to learn new products and skills and train others in these products and skills.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
