Under the direction of the Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition, and Member & Student Recruiting Manager, the Talent Acquisition Intern plays a vital role in supporting and enhancing the cooperative's recruitment efforts. The purpose of this position is to provide a comprehensive learning experience for the intern by immersing them in various aspects of talent acquisition and recruitment strategies within the agriculture cooperative.





  • Collaborate with recruiters and TA team members to support end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate communication.


  • Shadow experienced recruiters during interviews, job fairs, and networking events to gain insights into effective recruitment strategies and candidate evaluation.


  • Assist in the execution of our intern program, ensuring a meaningful and impactful experience for our interns.


  • Contribute to the enhancement of recruitment procedures and processes, suggesting innovative ways to streamline and improve the efficiency of our hiring processes.


  • Participate in and lead various recruiting projects, such as employer branding initiatives, Applicant Tracking System optimization, and recruitment marketing campaigns.


  • Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms to track and manage candidate data, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support talent acquisition needs and initiatives.


  • Contributes to sourcing passive candidates to maximize talent pools, increase diversity and attract top talent.





  • Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.


  • Performs all other duties as assigned.





  • Must be pursuing a human resources or business related degree at a 4-year university, with a state of at least a second semester junior or first semester senior in good academic standing at the time the internship begins


  • Demonstrates strong interest in talent acquisition, human resources, and the agriculture industry.


  • Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development


  • Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position


  • Must have an maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record


  • Must be able to travel independently and overnight when necessary
