PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Under the direction of the Regional Senior Manager, Lubricants, performs the safe and efficient delivery of lubricant products to customers within an assigned territory, ensuring accurate product handling, inventory accountability, equipment care, and a high level of customer service to support customer operations and satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Safely operate and maintain lubricant delivery vehicles in compliance with DOT, company, and safety regulations.

Load, unload, and handle bulk and packaged lubricants while ensuring delivery accuracy and inventory control.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly.

Maintain vehicle cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness at all times.

Complete delivery tickets, bills of lading, mileage logs, shipping forms, and other required documentation accurately.

Follow environmental, health, and safety procedures to prevent spills, contamination, and accidents.

Manage delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely product delivery and efficient service.

Assist with tank fills, product transfers, equipment inspections, and customer maintenance programs.

Provide excellent customer service, including oil testing support and prompt resolution of customer concerns.

Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, operations, sales personnel, and management regarding delivery and service needs.

Support business growth by generating prospects, introducing customers to lubricant products and services, and distributing promotional materials.

Monitor territory activity, customer feedback, market trends, and competitor actions to identify opportunities and support customer retention.

Mechanically inclined to install lubricant tank and dispensing equipment as needed on-sight.

Must be able to safely operate a forklift to load, unload, stage, and transport packaged lubricants and related materials throughout the facility.

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Responsible for maintaining the assigned vehicle according to company standards, adheres to the uniform policy, and maintains the appropriate professional image.

Provides documentation and cost estimates on all maintenance necessary to ensure the primary function of the assigned vehicle.

Will be responsible for documentation and inventory management for products delivered.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years or more of delivery experience to demonstrate strong reasoning ability to solve practical problems and handle customer inquiries and concerns.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Proven professional communication, persuasion, presentation, and customer service skills.

Demonstrated planning, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated math skills and the ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, etc.

Ability to use the computer to enhance business processes.

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement.

Must be able to travel independently.

Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds, sit, stand, crawl, climb and reach difficult areas as job demands.

Must be able to work hours beyond "normal".

Must be willing to work hours beyond those considered “normal.” Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
