Material Handler Temp - 2nd and 3rd Shift (Multiple Openings) - GROWMARK, Inc. - Alpha, IL

To accurately receive merchandise and assign the proper storage location to the product.


To pick and ship merchandise accurately and in a logical manner that will insure product integrity throughout the trailer routing.


To transport and restock products in their assigned locations maintaining first in/first out inventory procedures.




Assists in periodic product inventories and annual inventory.


General cleanliness of the warehouse and the upkeep of equipment.


Other duties as assigned.


Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.


Performs all other duties as assigned.




Must have the ability to learn and perform the duties necessary to provide the maximum service level required of this position.


May occasionally be exposed to or required to work in conditions that may include dust, fumes, chemicals with appropriate safety measures.


May be required to lift 51-70 lbs.


Willingness to work after hours and Saturdays when needed.


Must be mobile and have the ability to lift and load heavy items.


Must qualify to operate warehouse equipment necessary to perform material handling duties.


Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.


Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
