Responsible for overseeing the life cycle of grain projects from bid reviews through project completion within the controls to meet customer and GROWMARK expectations.


Supervises, leads and develops the Project Managers and Construction Superintendents.


Consult with Project Managers and Construction Superintendents to schedule weekly activities for commercial projects.

Assist Project Managers with grain systems design plans.

Review bids to ensure and contribute to best practices in sales, project design, project management, and resource utilization.

Administrate accounting controls on projects as directed by department and corporate accounting standards. Review and report on margin performance for projects.

Oversee continuous improvement cycle of innovations for both sales tools and tangible products.

Supervise concurrent construction projects by effective communications, proactive planning, contract administration, and jobsite controls.

Manage projects’ safety, environmental, and other applicable regulatory compliance adherence.

Attend, and exhibit where applicable, industry events as directed and approved by department management.
Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Normally requires a bachelor’s degree in an agri-mechanical discipline, or the equivalent thereof, and at least seven years or more successfully managing teams for large scale marketing and design related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of construction management.
Strong preference for construction experience with commercial grain systems.
Proven track record of successfully managing construction/design projects within controls.
Ability to lead and positively influence teams and customers.
Familiarity with construction management and/or design software packages.

Ability to successfully manage multiple projects concurrently.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Prefer an understanding of GROWMARK grain systems.

Must have a valid driver’s license and passport with the ability to work extended hours and travel independently overnight.

Frequently exposed or required to:
- Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.)
- Noisy conditions
- Working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures
- May be required to work at varying heights
- Confined spaces
- Lift (21-50 lbs., 51-70 lbs., 71-100 lbs.).
 Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
