PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Responsible for full distribution of all seed products to ultimately lead to increased efficiency and profitability for GROWMARK and its customers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsible for communication and planning with customers on their availability to take delivery of available products. Leads communication effort when releasing products for delivery.
Validates and reconciles open orders and deliveries to ensure customers are billed correctly and promptly.
Assist with developing and maintaining strategic inventory position and controls at GROWMARK warehouses
Responsible for timely deliveries of assigned products.
Collaborates with Logistics in administering and maintaining delivery programs.
Responsible for maintaining optimal shipping cost and efficiency.
Assist in monitoring product availability for assigned division products.
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining product inventories in enterprise systems in a manner that facilitates shipping and inventory reporting.
Maintains working knowledge of the enterprise systems. Responsible for monitoring these systems for issues and recommending and implementing improvements
Ensures continued electronic connectivity with vendors and customers.
Responsible for developing and distributing necessary reports to track shipping progress and other pertinent operational department information.
Leads contact for shipping scheduling and priorities for production plants and inventory locations.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Cross trains with other Seed Operations staff to provide uninterrupted customer support.
Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a college degree in agriculture or business, or the equivalent thereof, and 2 years or more of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of seed operations.
Demonstrates essential abilities, including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Must have the ability to travel independently and overnight as needed.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
