PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

 

Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, is responsible for leading and coordinating GROWMARK’s diversity and inclusion programs. Responsible for overseeing recruiting and hiring process compliance including but not limited to GROWMARK’s comprehensive Affirmative Action Programs (AAPs) and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies. Manages GROWMARK’s Affirmative Action Plans and other key HR related data.

 

SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP

 

Leads and advocates for D & I initiatives through partnerships with GROWMARK leadership team and employees.  Responsible for championing GROWMARK Affirmative Action plans and compliance. 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

Provides leadership to GROWMARK’s diversity and inclusion initiatives, including leading the DEI Steering Committee, and HR experts DEI sub-committee.

 

Develops, manages and analyzes D & I related metrics and statistical information. Reports to company leadership, including executive management, Board of Directors, and key stakeholders on the progress of D & I initiatives; utilizes metrics to support the D & I strategy.

 

Provides leadership and support to existing and potential ERGs (Employee Resource Groups) in the creation and execution of initiatives to support an inclusive workforce.

 

Serves as the internal & external community liaison to develop partnerships to promote diversity & inclusion.

 

Partners closely with the Training & Development team on training strategies regarding DEI.

 

Manages the Affirmative Action data collection, analysis, outreach and data mining to assure AA/EEO compliance.  

 

Ensures records, reports and logs are maintained to meet EEO/OFCCP regulations.

 

Provides oversight to data collection and timely execution of the annual Workforce Analysis, Adverse Impact Analysis, and Compensation Analysis. 

 

Audits and evaluates HRIS and Applicant Tracking System data to ensure data integrity and compliance. Works with the appropriate HR field staff to address audit results and corrective action items.

 

Communicates Affirmative Action plan goals, progress, requirements and audit results to all recruiting staff, Retail Division HR Managers, Subsidiary HR employees and senior management. Follows up to ensure any action items are completed.

 

Creates strategic action plans and events for diverse recruiting strategy and Affirmative Action goal progress and achievement. Works with recruiting staff and field HR staff to ensure action plans are achieved and targeted outreach efforts are completed.

 

Maintains current knowledge of related legislation, policies, and guidelines in order to provide AA/EEO and recruiting / hiring compliance subject matter expertise. 

Utilizes advanced Excel functions to generate reports, analyze and compare applicant and employee data.

 

Identifies process improvement initiatives to better track outreach effectiveness, capture outreach activity and improve reporting efficiencies.

 

Coordinates Affirmative Action data requested for federal, state and city contract bids and renewals.  

 

Works with HRIS to submit the EEO-1 and Vets 4212 reports.

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

 

Assists with merger and acquisition activities to ensure hiring process compliance.

 

May be required to represent GROWMARK at various career fairs as needed.

 

Treats human resources employee data and information with the highest level of confidentiality.

 

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

 

Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Normally requires a bachelor’s degree in human resources or business related field and at least 5 years of related experience in talent management or human resources to demonstrate the ability to lead diversity and inclusion initiatives and affirmative action programs.

 

Advanced analytical and reporting skills. Proven advanced Excel skills and experience analyzing data and creating complex reports. Experience with SAP HR and reporting modules preferred.

 

Knowledge of HR law and best practices.

 

Prefer experience in OFFCP mandated human resources environment developing Affirmative Action Plans and audits. 

 

Must have or be willing to obtain a SHRM-CP, PHR or equivalent certification.

 

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

 

Must have a valid driver’s license and passport with the ability to work extended hours and travel independently overnight.


Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
