Responsible for management of Grain Systems supply programs and product cost/income.




Provides technical leadership guidance and product recommendations for the department, understands and communicates current programs to member companies, receives/processes orders, and assists with pricing of equipment.


Serves as a key contact for member cooperatives, maintains knowledge/expertise in all areas of Grain Systems, and resolves problems in a mutually beneficial manner.


Maintains inventory and increases warehouse income through increased sales, turns, and customer reliance.  Works closely with the accounting department and collaborates with them on vendor updates and programs.



Negotiates with suppliers to secure competitive costs, terms, and availability, and communicates such internally and externally.


Maintains and develops vendor relations, seeks programs that benefit the System and Facility Equipment, resolves problems in a mutually beneficial manner, and strives for long term vendor trust and support.




Represents the System at trade shows and industry events as needed.


Maintains SAP pricing and determines efficiency improvements in processes.


Maintains information on website, assists developing content and helps to keep website current.


Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.


Performs all other duties as assigned.




Requires at least 2 years or more of related sales/technical support experience to demonstrate the ability to provide structures and facility equipment supply leadership to the GROWMARK System.


Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.


Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.


Proven ability to maintain complete confidentiality.


Prefer but does not require a college degree in engineering, agricultural mechanization, or business related field degree.


Occasionally exposed to noisy conditions, working conditions with dust, fumes, chemicals, and may be required to work at varying heights.


Must have and maintain a valid passport and have the ability to travel independently and overnight as needed.


May be required to work extended hours when needed.


Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
