PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and support of various enterprise applications including Service Now. This role will coordinate with vendors, IT, and stakeholders to manage the direction of and support capabilities for those applications.

Responsible for supervision of one or more employees and contractors.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Application Management: Takes ownership of enterprise applications, including ServiceNow, managing their configuration, customization, and optimization to align with organizational goals.

 

Requirements Gathering: Collaborates with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements for enhancements and new features within enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and user needs.

 

Project Execution: Leads the planning, execution, and delivery of projects and initiatives related to enterprise applications, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes and efficient resource utilization.

 

Application Support: Provides ongoing support and troubleshooting for enterprise applications, addressing user issues and ensuring system uptime, while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

 

Team Supervision: Supervises a small team of employees and contractors, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to facilitate their success and professional development, while promoting collaboration with stakeholders.

 

Vendor Management: Manages relationships with third-party vendors and consultants, overseeing their work and ensuring alignment with organizational standards and objectives, while facilitating communication between vendors and stakeholders.

 

Documentation and Training: Develops and maintains documentation, user guides, and training materials for enterprise applications to facilitate user adoption and knowledge sharing among stakeholders.

 

Continuous Improvement: Identifies opportunities for process improvement and optimization within enterprise applications, driving efficiency and effectiveness, and actively solicits feedback from stakeholders to inform decision-making.

 

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Identifies opportunities and develop processes to educate customers on new or existing enterprise software options. Will identify, develop, and perform outreach programs to work with business units and customers to use the Enterprise Software platforms more effectively and efficiently.

 

Responsible for encouraging, supporting, and promoting innovative practices, ideas, and technologies within the team.

 

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

 

Performs all other duties as assigned.
 

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a bachelor’s degree in business or computer science, or the equivalent thereof, and 5+ years or more of IT related work to demonstrate knowledge of information systems technologies and leadership.

 

Normally requires a current technical certification from a vendor or certifying authority that is pertinent to the GROWMARK System; for example, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), etc. to demonstrate advanced technical knowledge.

 

Normally requires 5+ years’ experience managing a team and multiple projects.

 

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

 

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

 

Demonstrated planning, organization, analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to read and interpret technical material.

 

Must be able to obtain and maintain a technical certification from a vendor or certifying authority that is pertinent to the GROMWARK System.

 

Ability to work other than normal business days and hours.

 

Ability to travel independently and overnight and be assigned temporarily to client locations, technical conferences, training, etc.

 

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training relating to the position’s requirements.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
