PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Leads the coordination, communication, and administrative responsibilities related to Training and Development activities. 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

Coordinates the communication, registration, enrollment, agenda and supports on-site logistics of development programs in collaboration with Training and Development staff. Partners closely with Trainers on key learning deliverables. Maintains close collaboration with business partners in Event Management and Travel Ops, Member Resources, HRIS, and GROWMARK System leadership.

 

Leads the administration of the SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS) by managing system configurations, course creation, and content updates. Oversees the full lifecycle of training items, programs, and curricula, including scheduling, enrollment, notifications, and completion tracking. Ensures accurate learning assignments through the design of assignment profiles, monitors compliance using reporting and analytics, and provides system training and support to instructors and LMS admins through permissions management and troubleshooting.

 

Writes and develops impactful communications including newsletters, emails, and content represented on internal social sites on behalf of Training & Development. Develops campaigns and promotions for larger scale events.

 

Collaborates with Event Management team to secure Training and Development event venues, negotiate facility contracts, and discern onsite AV and catering needs.

 

Coordinates and communicates with member cooperative management, region staff and divisions concerning training activities. Composes correspondence and reports as necessary. Develops campaigns and initiatives to drive engagement and promote training and development initiatives.

 

Coordinates training material development, including PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, and Excel spreadsheets for leadership programs and disseminates pre-work as requested.

 

Collaborates with Design and Production to develop participant manuals and support materials for new and/or revised Training and Development leadership programs.

 

Constructs and manages internal and external T&D Training SharePoint sites.

 

Coordinates onsite registration for leadership events.

 

Processes billings and payments for training functions. 

 

Works in partnership with the training staff to build and maintain training evaluations, run reports, compile the resulting data, and prepare the data for report outs and presentations.

 

Provides support to the Sr. Manager, Training & Development and Manager, Field Training.

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Coordinates T&D training events and program dates for the GROWMARK master calendar.

 

May assist with on-boarding event coordination as needed.

 

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

 

Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS 

Bachelor’s degree preferred in human resources, education, business, or business-related discipline.

 

2 years or more of related work experience.

 

General understanding of training coordination, administration, and evaluation processes, business writing and etiquette, records control, and office procedures.

 

Proven professional communication and customer service skills and the ability to establish and maintain working relationships with all positions within the GROWMARK System. Demonstrated planning, organization, and “attention to detail” skills.

 

Ability to get work done through others, work independently, and in a team-oriented environment.

 

Proven computer skills including Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, word processing, presentation software, spreadsheets, databases, and Internet usage.

 

Ability to maintain complete confidentiality.

 

Ability to occasionally work extended hours and travel overnight to provide on-site program administration. 

 

Occasionally required to work at varying heights.

 

 

Frequently required to lift and move 21-50 lbs.

 

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

 

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
