PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Helps provide strategic, analytical, data, and technical support for business intelligence activities that impact GROWMARK Wholesale. Assists in identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and builds around these metrics. Analyzes and helps create processes to access, transport, and report information necessary for insight into all Wholesale business operations and opportunities. Reviews and validates data, builds and validates models, runs scenarios, and assists in creating and presenting findings to Wholesale business leaders and GROWMARK customers.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Collaborates with internal and external customers to define specific business requirements for distribution and route modeling projects. Ability to utilize the appropriate GROWMARK modeling software to accurately develop and analyze alternatives.

 

Assists all wholesale product divisions in gaining insight and provides actionable intelligence to improve overall corporate performance.

 

Ability to delivers actionable insight utilizing data to improve business outcomes for GROWMARK.

 

Helps develop key operational metrics to measure overall division and organizational performance.

 

Translates data into usable written reports, tables, graphs, and charts to convey information to management and other teams.

 

Assists in establishing corporate data and reporting capabilities and works closely with data and reporting governance teams to develop and enforce best practice across other data resources.

 

Creates ad-hoc reports and views on a frequent basis to assist management in understanding, researching, and analyzing issues.

 

Tracks the process and implementation of the various studies that are completed.

 

Supports and educates on the use of business intelligence tools across all levels of the organization.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a data, computer science, or business-related field or equivalent and has at least three years of related professional experience.

 

Able to assist in designing, developing, and maintaining reports, data visualizations, and analytical tools to support supply chain and corporate initiatives.

 

Ability to utilize analytical skills to present process improvement initiatives to ensure teams achieve production, inventory, and customer service objectives.

 

Ability to establish, create, and communicate written materials that effectively summarize findings, support recommendations, and validate results

 

Ability to formulate recommendations using data to drive business decisions and ability to see recommendations to implementation.

 

Experience using advanced, modern data analysis tools and best practices.

 

Ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures and the ability to clearly define, analyze, and resolve problems and process weaknesses.

 

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

 

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, problem-solving, decision making and skill development.

 

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
