PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Aligns enterprise business strategies with its technology and processes by analyzing business operations while providing recommended solutions to align individual business functions with organizational goals. Understands the structure, policies, and operations of the enterprise and recommends business-focused or technology-focused solutions to improve general business processes and planning.

 

Develops project estimates by identifying phases and elements, personnel requirements, and costs. May assist in creating end-user documentation (e.g., user guides, process flow charts, training materials) and deliver training.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Understands business change needs; assesses business impact of those changes, capturing, analyzing, and documenting requirements and supporting the communication and delivery of requirements with appropriate stakeholders.

 

Leadership skills to assist with the business case, eliciting requirements, translating, and simplifying requirements, and using requirements to drive the design or review of test cases, process change requests, and manage a project's scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment.

 

Assists with clarifying, troubleshooting, updating, and improving the business processes impacted by technology changes, and maps out the requirements for one or more systems to support needs and processes.

 

Provide support for strategic initiatives for optimizing business performance by enhancing the alignment between business processes and information technology.  Determines how information technologies can support reengineering business processes

 

Ability to lead cross-functional team projects designed to streamline processes, optimize the use of enterprise technologies, identify opportunities for automation, and recommend the best solution.

 

Support in defining, assigning, and tracking project tasks. Leads, guides, and supports team members throughout development and implementation, addressing challenges as the team encounters them. Provides project leadership to both customers and internal work groups including.

 

Implements change management efforts around new technologies and changes to existing technologies and processes to minimize disruption and maximize and accelerate value and impact.

 

Responsible for ongoing assessment, development, and implementation of business processes that result in appropriate management of risk, excellent customer service, and desired financial results.

 

Develop and drive value stream mapping (VSM) and VSM continuous improvement roadmaps and action plans and create standard processes throughout the wholesale divisions.

 

Assist in developing key operational metrics to measure overall division and organizational performance.

 

Partner with teams to identify potential process improvement projects, assess gaps, and develop gap closure plans.

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Assists in the evaluation of new software, associated hardware, and services to be offered to end users.

 

Responsible for encouraging, supporting, and promoting innovative practices, ideas, and technologies.

 

Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

 

Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a college degree, and 5 years or more of GROWMARK process-related experience to demonstrate the ability to provide business process and technology leadership to the GROWMARK System.

 

Proficient at clearly defining, analyzing, and resolving problems and process weaknesses and then applying a formal root cause corrective action methodology.

 

Demonstrated planning, organization, analytical, diagnostic, problem-solving, and project management skills.

 

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.

 

Understand and be attuned to the environment in which both GROMWARK and its' stakeholders and suppliers are operating.

 

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, and passport.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
