PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Helps control the various types of master data in SAP system. Analyzes master data maintenance activity to achieve appropriate database maintenance governance. 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Assists maintaining system updates for assigned data, keeping information current in all corporate applications for our GROWMARK members, other customers and vendors.

 

Updates the databases as required.

 

Analyzes and evaluates the most effective way to utilize capabilities of the SAP system and prioritizes update requests.

 

Supports clients with query information and advises clients in order to achieve the best results for transactions needed. 

 

Analyzes and resolves problems which arise in maintenance setup and are carried forward from the order to the invoice for customers and vendors.

 

Communicate with clients and banks to verify and update banking changes.

 

Maintains New Customer applications and workflows in DocuSign.

 

Answers procedural questions that arise related to maintenance transactions.

 

Leverages ServiceNow to track workload, collaborate with team members, and ensure SLA requirements are met.

 

Learns the GROWMARK SAP structure and functionality.

 

Sets up appropriate customer and vendor data.  Makes all system adjustments for mergers, consolidations, and acquisitions.  Communicates customer and vendor data additions or changes to appropriate GROWMARK, Inc. personnel via e-mail.

 

Assists with Accounting Operations SharePoint access and maintenance.

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Assists in maintaning information SAP information using the AG Industry Identification System (AGIIS) Directory, a database system that houses agricultural e-business data for industry subscribers.  Responsible for adding entities, changing statuses, and assigning EBID and GLN numbers to entities as needed.

 

Using Business Objects: creates reports enabling clients to retrieve data to enhance maintenance activity. 

 

Assists clients in accessing reports and other SAP information.

 

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

 

Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires an associate’s degree in accounting, or the equivalent thereof, and one year or more of accounting related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of database maintenance and problem solving skills.

 

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

 

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

 

Prefer an understanding of GROWMARK accounting information systems, testing, implementation, applications and adjustments, data governance, information queries and retrieval, recommendations, documentation, and reporting.

 

Proven computer skills including SAP and Business Objects and the ability to learn other GROWMARK related software.

 

Must be available to work outside of normal business hours as needed.

 

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
