SALARY RANGE: $79,500.00 - $109,287.50

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Executes daily fleet transportation coordination activities within an assigned region, taking direct ownership of load management, carrier communication, and freight documentation. Develops foundational expertise in carrier relationship management, freight operations, and compliance processes while contributing meaningfully to the performance and reliability of GROWMARK’s supply chain and logistics operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Owns the coordination of pickups, deliveries, and load assignments, ensuring daily customer demand is met with accuracy and urgency.
Monitors and manages shipment statuses, proactively communicating updates to dispatch, carriers, and customers to maintain service reliability.
Maintains precise records of carrier contracts, rate confirmations, and freight documentation, ensuring compliance and operational integrity.
Manages data entry and reporting functions within transportation management systems (TMS), ensuring data accuracy that supports operational decision-making.
Prepares performance reports and operational summaries, developing the analytical skills necessary for progressive responsibility in fleet operations.
Responds to and resolves customer and carrier inquiries with professionalism, escalating complex issues appropriately and following through to ensure resolution.
Leads scheduling and coordination during seasonal peak periods, nights, weekends, and holidays, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery.
Executes carrier compliance checks to verify adherence to DOT safety requirements, maintaining documentation standards that protect GROWMARK and its members.
Participates actively in carrier communication calls and in-person meetings, building relationships and developing the industry knowledge essential to career advancement.
Tracks and reports on equipment placement and condition of assigned trailers, taking accountability for asset visibility and readiness.
Actively identifies and communicates business opportunities across all logistics operations to support growth and value creation for GROWMARK members.
Maintain regular communication with Agronomy and Energy Managers and engage with General Managers as business needs require.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Completes required training programs, including company policies and position-specific skills development.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Normally 3–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
Working knowledge of transportation and supply chain concepts with a commitment to developing deeper operational expertise.
Strong attention to detail with solid organizational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to build credible relationships with carriers and members.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; demonstrated ability to learn and apply TMS and other logistics software platforms quickly.
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays during peak periods.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record; ability to travel locally as needed.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
