PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Position will be responsible for connecting target audiences with our custom-manufactured products through driving brand awareness, creating brand loyalty and problem solving in an effort to drive profitable growth and increase revenue across the division and member companies.

 

SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP

Working closely with Lubricants Business Development Manager & lubricants technical department, the Lubricants Marketing Manager will lead the development, implementation, and management of product information and marketing programs across our proprietary lubricant brands.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Learn and support GROWMARK Lubricants go-to-market technology & with industry understanding, co-develop product marketing initiatives, create engaging content, and oversee various marketing projects from concept to execution in collaboration with Enterprise Marketing team.

 

Marketing document and data control – manage marketing documents within lubricants division in a systematic and organized manner. Create, store, organize, track and distribute marketing documents to ensure that the right version of a document is available to the right people at the right time and across multiple websites as appropriate. This will involve collaboration with both Enterprise Marketing team and Production and Design team.

 

Coordinate the design, production, and ordering of product labels, brochures, mailers, and other sales collateral with members, Council Bluffs production plant and branded distributors. This will involve direct relationships and coordination of both external vendors and internal production & design team.

 

Work with member companies and branded distributors through their account managers to assist with the best use of their acquired marketing/sales funds. 

 

Co-Plan and execute training sessions and meetings: coordinate presenters, topics, content, logistics, prepare agendas, develop slides, and conduct live presentations.  Convert and upload training presentations for broader access.

 

Coordinate market research requests, work with internal/external teams to compile data, and present findings to relevant stakeholders, including customers.

 

Serve as a point of contact for marketing inquiries across lubricant sites through appropriate account managers, responding directly or routing to the appropriate individual.

 

Prepare agendas for internal updates, present progress on plans, develop action items, and coordinate updates with all relevant parties.

 

Handle intake requests related to marketing production (design, print, etc.), coordinating with necessary internal or external resources.

 

Engage in personal development opportunities through industry training to stay current with marketing trends and best practices.

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

 

Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sciences, or communications, or the equivalent thereof, and five years or more of marketing related work experience in a technical capacity.

 

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

 

Must have a valid driver’s license and passport with the ability to work extended hours and travel independently overnight.

Demonstrated professional communication, persuasion, presentation, and customer service skills.

 

Demonstrated planning, organization, and decision-making skills.

 

Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

 

Proven computer skills and the ability to use these skills to enhance business processes and proficiency in current business software, graphics programs and web-based applications.

           

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
