PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

 

Responsible for customer service and support including the accurate and timely entry of orders for lubricant products and services.  Assists customers and provides support and assistance in accordance with company policies and guidelines. 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

Responsible for the timely order entry of customer orders for all lubricant and related products and services according to company standards.

 

Responsible resolving customer inquiries and discrepancies in a timely manner and in accordance with established procedures.  Researches and resolves customer inquiries on routine problems, service information, and inventory availability.

 

Supplies customers with order information including expected delivery dates and schedules.  Ensures customer inquiries are handled in a timely manner and follows up appropriately.  Provides technical support to customers as needed.

 

Supplies customers and GROWMARK personnel with information regarding warehouse inventory records, order status records, backorder files and vendor purchase order files.

 

Enters billing Information for invoice processing to customers.

 

Performs logistics related functions such as: manifesting loads, routing shipments, printing load paperwork for plant personnel and blending area, providing map for drivers, ensuring all bulk loading tickets and CofA’s are included in driver paperwork to customer.

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

 

Assists with marketing programs and communications to customers.

 

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

 

Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Normally requires a high school education or equivalent, plus related clerical experience including written and verbal communication and mathematical skills.  Prefer a minimum of 1-2 years customer service related experience.

 

Must be able to perform keyboard entry and have good computer skills.

 

Proven professional communication, interpersonal, persuasion, and customer service skills.

 

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

 

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

 

Frequently exposed to noisy conditions and working conditions that may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards that require appropriate safety measures.

 

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
